On Thursday, September 1, 2022, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) eAwas Portal was opened in New Delhi by Union Minister of India Amit Shah. By widening the pool of available housing, this web portal’s primary goal is to increase the likelihood that CAPF workers will find government housing.
According to Amit Shah ji, CAPF personnel would be able to obtain lodging options with other forces by logging into this new webpage rather than lodging options with their own unit. By doing this, this portal will raise the percentage of CAPF employees who are satisfied with their accommodation. Let us inform you that the CAPF also consists of the Assam Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and the Indo-Tibetan Border.
What is CAPF eWas Portal?
The Central Government has launched the CAPF eAwas Portal to raise employee satisfaction with housing among members of the Central Armed Police Forces. In the portal’s inaugural program, Amit Shah ji stated that CAPF had a caste structure whereby individuals for whom homes are built will only reside there. However, the CAPF e-Awas web portal will now put an end to the entire caste system. Vacant homes from one force can be given to willing members of another force through this gateway. Due to a clause in this site that states if special force accommodations are not granted for any reason for a period of four months. Therefore, any CAPF personnel may apply for that available space.
In addition, planning the construction of new homes at various locations will benefit from studying housing demand through the CAPF e-portal. This government-created online resource will prove to be a turning point in meeting the housing needs of CAPF personnel. To learn more about Agniveer Bharti, click.

Residential satisfaction in the CAPFs has increased by 13% as a result of this portal. Amit Shah ji has noted that the housing satisfaction ratio in CAPFs has grown from 33–44% to 48% since the BJP administration took office in 2014. In the past eight years, the Ministry of Home Affairs has built roughly 31000 homes. Currently, 17000 homes are being built, and another 15000 homes are expected to be built. The percentage of people who are satisfied with their housing will rise to 60% after all of these homes are built. By 2023, the CAPF eAwas Portal of the Central Government seeks to increase resident satisfaction in the Central Armed Police Forces to 74%.
Objective of CAPF eAwas Portal
The CAPF has a system whereby dwellings are exclusively assigned to the forces for which they have been built, therefore the Central Government’s primary goal in launching the CAPF e-Portal in 2023 is to raise the housing satisfaction rate of CAPF personnel. Will complete. The CAPF staff has an extremely low housing satisfaction ratio as a result. However, the CAPF eAwas Portal has now eliminated this mechanism. A vacant force housing may be given to a different force member who is interested through this site.
